Trump Brushes Off Greene’s Safety Fears as Their Clash Over Epstein Files Boils Over

The tension between Donald Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has taken another sharp turn, and this time it’s about her safety. Greene says the former president's public attacks have triggered real threats against her and her family. Trump, on the other hand, isn’t buying it.

When reporters asked Trump whether his comments had put Greene in danger, he cut her off with a jab. He even corrected a reporter by calling her “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene” instead of her actual name. Then he doubled down.

“I don’t think her life is in danger,” he said. “Honestly, I don’t think anybody cares about her.”

A few hours later, he went even further on Truth Social, accusing Greene of playing the victim and calling her “Wacky Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown,” adding a crack about “rot” turning green to brown.

Greene fired back on X, saying that prank pizza deliveries, threats to her home, and even a pipe bomb threat to her company started after Trump’s attacks. She argued that calling her a traitor was reckless, dangerous, and completely untrue. She believes it puts “blood in the water,” amplifying harassment just days before a crucial vote on forcing the DOJ to release the full Epstein files.

That vote is at the center of their feud. Greene has pushed aggressively for full transparency on the Jeffrey Epstein documents. Trump resisted that pressure until late in the weekend, finally urging House Republicans to support the release.

The House is expected to vote on the measure this week. If it passes, the DOJ would be forced to disclose its Epstein records—files connected to one of the most notorious sex offenders in modern history and linked to powerful figures across politics and business.

Trump now says he wants the documents released, framing the entire controversy as a “Democrat hoax” meant to distract from GOP successes. He claims the DOJ has already turned over tens of thousands of pages and insists Republicans have “nothing to hide.”

But a new ad featuring Epstein victims paints a different picture. The women ask Congress to demand full transparency, saying that five administrations—both parties—kept key records hidden. They share haunting details of their own experiences as teens who trusted adults who later abused that trust.

One survivor said Epstein used her mother's illness to manipulate her. Another said the silence around Epstein protected the powerful while survivors waited decades for answers.

The ad drops just two days before the vote, putting more pressure on lawmakers and on Trump, who only days ago was telling Republicans not to support the petition.

Meanwhile, House investigators released emails showing Epstein referencing Trump years ago in cryptic messages. Epstein claimed he was someone who could “take Trump down,” though he never explained what that meant. Trump has denied any involvement in Epstein’s crimes.

What this really means is the next few days could reshape the political fight over the Epstein files—and deepen an already ugly rift inside Trump’s own MAGA circle.
